The towers of Paine, Patagonia, Chile At the end of a circumnavigation of the Towers of Paine, Chile I was hiking in a gulch when I noticed the light glowing on the fringes of the clouds above me. I dropped my pack, grabbed my tripod and ran to the top of a nearby hill just in time to snap four or five shots of the mountains reflecting the ebbing rays of the sun.
