The Carbon Glacier, north side of Mt. Rainier
Mt. Rainier rises with grand symmetrical relief making it a familiar form from a distance.
As you approach the mountain it shows it's character as bold alpine features take
form. This picture was shot from the North side of the mountain above the Carbon
Glacier. In the center of the mountain is Liberty ridge, with Willis Wall to its left.
